1.3. Processing of Personal Data

In order to provide you with the best possible experience, quality informative content, access to specific information such as resources (brochure and application form, online registration), you may need to fill out forms. The information collected is then subject to computer processing made necessary to ensure the Commercial and Marketing follow-up.

In accordance with the “Data Processing and Freedom law" of January 6 th , 1978 amended in 2004, you have the right to access, correct, modify and delete your personal data collected on the ISM site. You may exercise this right by sending an email to info@ism.edu.sn .

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), which came into effect on May 25 th , 2018, defines the principles to be respected when collecting, processing and storing personal data. It also guarantees the rights for the persons concerned.

Objective :

The collection of personal data shall be carried out in order to allow the transmission of additional or personalized information on programs or commercial offers from ISM and the Studialis-Galileo network, to allow online registration to these programs, and to be contacted by one of our advisers to assist you in your application in one of our programs.

The primary objective of all our forms is either a request for contact or registration (event or online registration), or a request for resources (brochure, application form, etc.); as part of the online application they collect identification information (first name, last name, phone number, email) and information about your educational level (language, degree, scholarship, etc.).

In accordance with the Data Protection Act, information relating to racial or ethnic origins, political, philosophical or religious opinions, trade union membership, health or sexual life of a person is not collected and is prohibited (sensitive data).

The information collected is for the exclusive use of ISM and the schools of the Studialis-Galileo network.

Rights of individuals (Art. 16 to 20 of the GDPR):

In accordance with the Data Protection Act and the GDPR, all people are entitled to exercise their rights of access, modification, objection, restriction of processing, deletion and portability of their data concerning them by making the request by letter signed and accompanied by a copy of an ID document at the Address of the ISM head office.
